Lost in Translation

This poem is dedicated to my beautiful Italian "Anamika" ...who didn't know English ...

Lot, can be said with eyes
Alas! we also need words
Never mind, I tried my best
Gauche! I kept on speaking
Uttering thousands of words
And you never replied
Gee! I should have surmised
English you may not know

Note: I have tried to do something dumb ... if you take first letter of every line
and write them down it appears something like this
