Stars

Was written for a friend for the wonderful holi weekend spent with her.

Standing in my balcony last night
a few stars came to my sight
wondered why they have so much light
as if they resembled current moments in my life
turned and looked to my right
saw your face shining in the night
thought no wonder they are so bright
and now when you are leaving in few hours
i wish to thank you for those stars
