cup of sin
sight of chocolates and dieting are not exactly made for each other ... when you are trying to diet a cup of chocolate is actually cup of sin ... sometimes i think what actually is "sin" ... how did the word come into existance ... if we go by myths well adam and eve .. eating the apple was the first sin .. sometimes i wonder if it would have been chocolate our dear adam and eve would have been on earth much earlier :D
looking at the dictionary definitions of sin and crime i find ..
sin
any reprehensible or regrettable action, behavior, lapse, etc.; great fault or offense: It's a sin to waste time.
crime
an action or an instance of negligence that is deemed injurious to the public welfare or morals or to the interests of the state and that is legally prohibited.
well this makes me think ... it seems like sin is something for which individual is the best judge and crime is something for which society is the best judge ....
wouldn't the world be a better place .. if a person learns from his "sins" and never commots a crime

My first time
well was reading today's mint ... they had a special edition .. in which sunil mittal talked about his first mobile phone call (interesting right?) ... aamir khan about his first directorial venture ... saif ali khan about his first stage show .. nandan nilekani about his first offshore trip ...
this lead me thinking ... thinking about my first experiences ..
My first movie in theatre
Well it was deewar .. i dont remember all the secene .. one scene which i remember most clearly is AB in the temple dying .. well after that movie AB was god for me :)
My first denim
If i remmeber well the denim craze had died down in the 90's .. and in my childhood i never had denims in my wardrobe ... so i got my first denim only when i was in 8th class ... well i used to feel so happy wearing that .. i used to wear it every other day ... my poor mom who had clean it every day .. after that denim occupied my wardrobe completely and even today 98% of my wardrobe is denim ...
My first crush
Most of the boys have their first crush on their teachers ... i was not among them .. i had first crush quite late (if u count out cricket .. even then it was actually love not crush) .. i had my first crush in 10th class .. the girl was in ninth class ... and it was a strange feling .. everything felt so good .. i remember listening to songs of ddlj again and again .. and like lyrics of the songs had a new meaning now ... something was changing in me .. rather than dancing on songs i started preferring listening .. i always used to look outside from my window of the classroom so that i could go out to drink water with her ... i made fruad passes (some stupid things we had to carry when we had to go for drinking water) with fraud signature of my classteacher on it .. well i was so mushy mushy that could never talk to that girl :)
